Cedar Bayou Choir Plans Bicentennial Program
The Cedar Bayou Junior School Choir will perform a program in three weeks titled Our Country ’Tis of Thee under Mrs. Lanselle Taylor and accompanist Randy Marshall. The National Junior Honor Society held a Sept. 30 meeting as dues were paid and new member constitutions passed. Girls earned medals and ribbons in homeroom period activities and the eighth grade class completed a Texas history unit on Spanish explorers. Pep Club began the year with a first appearance at a Deer Park game and plans future events for eighth grade home games.

Detailed work dominates over initial rough carving.
