Lili forces Senior Olympics to cancel today's events
Hurricane Lili forced cancellation of Thursday events at the 2002 Greater Baytown Senior Citizens Olympics after Wednesday's pickleball kickoff at Highlands Community Center. Lynne Foley said weather permitting Friday's events at Baytown Community Center and the awards luncheon would proceed as scheduled. Local participants, including Baytown resident Bill C. BAYTOWN The Goose Creek ISD postpones its relocation to the Lone Star building and tax office to late 2002 after delays from renovations and efforts to reuse existing furnishings.
