Blinkers on My Foolish Car Confession
A lighthearted column details the author’s habit of leaving the turn signal flashing and the embarrassment of neighbors and a long-time riding partner. It jokes about bygone car bells that warned blinking signals and contrasts them with modern tech like OnStar and heated mirrors. The narrator admits a recent mission to Arkansas involved a Buick LaCrosse with a turn-signal bell, while noting his own car lacks such a warning.
