A Galena Park man Henry Calvin age 41 and his 90 year old mother Dora Calvin died when their pickup was struck by a Southern Pacific freight train at a Crosby crossing on FM 2100. The engineer said the lights and whistle were active. calvin apparently failed to see or hear the approaching train. Autopses were ordered. bodies sent to Harris County morgue. Funeral arrangements pending at Boulevard Funeral Home. State Police investigated.
