She married H Gene Boynton in 1952 and worked at the Baytown Sun rising to Society Editor and Associate Managing Editor. Predeceased by her husband and son Brook, she is survived by Buckspan and Kim Buckspan and their spouses, several grandchildren and daughters in law. A memorial reception is planned December 2 2017 from 2 to 4 pm at Querencia at Barton Creek in Austin.
