Boatright signs with Texas State softball program
Baytown native Leah Boatright, star at Sterling, signed a National Letter of Intent to play for Texas State under coach Ricci Woodard. A top first baseman and No. 4 hitter, Boatright led with a .400-plus average, strong defense, and clutch power. She previously starred with Texas Eclipse Gold and Sterling High School, earning district honors and Gatorade recognition.
