Iraqi woman says she tried to blow herself up at wedding
Sajida al-Rishawi, 35, told state TV she and her husband attempted to detonate belts at a Radisson ballroom wedding reception in Amman last week. She said the bombs failed and she fled as her husband blew himself up. Authorities tied the attack to al-Qaida in Iraq, citing captured belts and the couple’s fake passports. The bombings killed 57 people at three hotels.
