Baytown men charged in Nook theft at hospital
Two 20 year old Baytown men were arrested after allegedly stealing a Nook e reader from a police officer at San Jacinto Hospital emergency room on Oct 25. Security video identified one suspect who was a patient and linked another man as a person of interest in a prior theft. Device recovered at suspect home and both men jailed Saturday. A Crosby man, Lorenzo Artie Record, 20, returned to jail Friday for probation violation tied to a snow cone stand robbery on Aug 15, 2010.

Baytown council acts on nursing home emergency plans
Baytown officials will review state emergency plans for nursing homes to ensure hurricane readiness under a new ordinance. A ban on building nursing facilities in flood plains is included. Stalker Arrest Tied to Lakes of Champions Incident
In Mont Belvieu a 42 year old Dayton man Charles Deville was arrested for DWI after an officer responding to a stalking report spotted him driving erratically and throwing a beer can. The same night a trespass warning had been issued for a Lakes of Champions residence where a family was targeted. Deville allegedly texted threats of returning to the home.
