Bayside Community Hospital in Anahuac is among 31 Texas hospitals honored with the Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Award from TMF Health Quality Institute. The program rewards performance improvement on national quality measures in areas such as heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, and post-surgical infection prevention. TMF leader Dr. William Gamel emphasized that 100 percent reliability in applying measures equates to patients receiving right care at the right time. Bayside’s Mark Sanders, RN, CNO, said the facility is proud to deliver the highest quality of care and will continue its efforts.
