Baytown police report a weekend burglary at Carpenters Local Union Hall 304 Schilling. A speaker system amplifier and microphones were stolen from the auditorium and an attempted safe break-in in the business office failed. Blood smeared on the floors suggests the burglar cut himself.

Mrs Hope Hubbard and neighbors on Tri City Beach Road in McCollum Park reported a bright UFO at 10 30 p m Sunday over Trinity Bay. They observed red and green flashing lights, tracked movements with tree tops, then a second dimmer object appeared, and by 3 a m the objects had vanished.
