Lamkin announces resignation from Baytown school board
Trustee Lamkin says he moves with mixed emotions and leaves a fine city and friendships behind. He thanks supporters from the election and notes a capable replacement will continue Baytown’s fine school system under the superintendent and board. Lamkin, who lives at 119 Caldwell, won a Prudential community service award and was elected to a three year term in October along with trustees Bill Goinge and Oswall Harman, all unopposed.
