Baytown Police Make Multiple Tuesday Arrests and Afts
Baytown Police arrested a Crosby man in the 900 block of East Fayle Avenue at about 11 p.m. Tuesday after he robbed Evolution Tapes and Records of 46 dollars in drug equipment. A Lake Charles man was jailed for shoplifting at Target around 2 p.m., with 128 dollars in merchandise stolen. Another man was seized at Target around 3 p.m. for stealing two dollars in items, and his friend faced outstanding local warrants. Between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday, 142 calls were logged, including eight alarms, two assaults, three auto thefts, four burglaries, and multiple thefts and accidents.

Forged Checks Used at Baytown Mall Store
Two counterfeit checks were passed at Baytown Marshall’s department store in San Jacinto Mall on Friday August 24 2007 between 0720 and 0725 PM. Baytown man pleads guilty to 06 murder
Larry Ray Welch Jr. 21 pleaded guilty to aggravated kidnapping in the June 2006 murder of Bobby McCartney 49 in Liberty County.
