Baytown study weighs shared sewer line with Goose Creek school

The city and Goose Creek School District may share costs for a larger sewer line at a new school site. If the district would have installed a 6 inch line, an agreement for a 12 inch line could cut the city’s payment. The study costs about 15000 and 45 days to finish. Baytown MDD budgeted 3 million for sewer extension. capacity issues exist. MDD, funded by a half cent sales tax, has collected 2.9 million in 11 months.
