Truck Driver Dies In Fiery I 10 Crash Near Cove
A 36 year old Memphis man Marlin Clark died in a single vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near Cove at 11 05 PM Tuesday. He drove a 2003 Freightliner westbound striking a guardrail. Weather was clear and road dry. Fire closed the road until 11 AM Wednesday. The body was taken to Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton. Clark was hauling chicken nuggets for Burger King.

Man Dies After Falling From Pickup Bed in Harris County
Harris County Sheriff's Office reports a man identified as Isaac Nugent died about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday after falling from the bed of a northbound pickup on Stolander Road 4900 block. Nugent was riding in the back among hauled items including a plastic swimming pool when the truck moved. He hit his head on the roadway. EMS found no sign of life. No vehicles struck him and no charges were filed.
