Kathy Carroll daughter of Mr and Mrs Sam Carroll of 400 Bowie Baytown has been elected women's wardrobe coordinator for the Southwest Texas State University Singers a choir of 43 voices. She is a voice major at the San Marcos campus. Debbie Gieger joins Jackies Le Surf surfing team from Houston and will enter a Thanksgiving contest at Port Aransas.

Baytown police investigated a trick-or-treat apple containing a razor blade reported Friday night on Long Drive.
