Pemex Raises Mexican Oil Output Amid Export Growth
Pemex officials report record oil output and rising exports to the United States. November figures show about 500 million barrels daily with exports near 35 000 barrels, and January data indicate a further 16 402 barrel per day increase boosting shipments abroad. Production gains are attributed to southeastern regions Chiapas and Yucatan with Pemex stating average daily output around 276 000 barrels in those areas.
