Local Baytown businessman Maurice Taylor dies at 76
Maurice Taylor a Baytown area staple for more than 52 years died suddenly Sunday at his home aged 76. He built M company employing about 30 people and transformed a hobby into helping others by flying burn victims to a Galveston center nearly 40 years ago. Funeral services are Thursday at Navarre Funeral Home with graveside rites at Allphin Cemetery in Madisonville and a four hour business closure in his memory.
