Could Beto be back O Rourke mulling bid for Texas governor
AUSTIN AP There is no definite move yet but Beto O Rourke, 48, has not ruled out running for Texas governor in 2022. He has kept options open with no formal steps, no donor calls, and no staff recruitment. If he enters, it would be his third straight election cycle and would test Democrats in a party already reeling from stalled efforts in Texas politics.
