Lima-Ashley Appeal Preparation Begins
Attorney Jack Knight leads an appeal effort for the defendants in the murder case of Carolyn Lima and Leslie Douglas Ashley. He plans to call witnesses to challenge the victim’s character while arguing the moral standing of the victim is irrelevant to guilt. The jury verdict followed a lengthy trial as prosecutors pursued multiple charges related to a fatal shooting and arson.
