In Baytown a portrait gallery honors fallen U S Air Force veterans with memorials by Ken Pridgeon and POWMAG. Family bonds deepen the impact as visitors hear personal stories, cry, and find healing. Organizers seek nonprofit status and a larger space with city support.
A sunny Saturday on Texas Avenue saw friends family and veterans honor Ken Pridgeon s 80th birthday outside the Portrait of a Warrior Memorial Art Gallery. The Texas Avenue Band performed We re America to mark the occasion with Veterans Families in attendance and Pridgeon Jr praising the community s support. The group formed three years ago from Baytown locals noting deep ties to the city and planning to open for Clay Walker at the upcoming Baytown 4th of July event.
Donors can contribute at Texas First Bank in care of Mike Wilson chair POWMAG or online at portraitofawarrior.org. Local fundraiser details emphasize accessible giving channels and a central contact for the memorial gallery project.
John M. Floyd and Associates earned top honors at the 29th Annual American Marketing Association Houston Crystal Awards Gala. IMFA’s New Over draft Privilege Program campaigns won Best in B2B Marketing Campaign and Two Dimensional Printed Direct Mail Campaign. Winners are chosen for marketing effectiveness.
