Texas Program Aimed At Cutting DWI Cases
Four Alcohol Safety Action Projects in Texas aim to reduce alcohol related crashes. The program tests drivers for BAL with Breathalyzers and classifies offenders as social drinkers or problem drinkers. Enforcement has been strengthened across Dallas Harris County Central Texas and San Antonio areas. The effort seeks to remove drinking drivers from roads and change public attitudes toward drinking and driving.
