Experts predict busy Atlantic storm season
NOAA foresees 13 to 20 named storms from June to November with 6 to 10 hurricanes and 3 to 5 major hurricanes. Warmer Atlantic waters and absence of El Nino raise activity. majority of models align with a busier-than-normal season though not as extreme as 2020. An Ana distressed system near Bermuda poses a 90 percent chance to become named within five days.
