Drenching rain gusty thunderstorms and flooding are forecast along the central and eastern Gulf Coast today. More spotty storms extend from the Atlantic Coast to the Four Corners region.
The City of Baytown announces NC Foote Swimming Pool at 2428 West Main will open weekends starting May 23, including Memorial Day, with hours noon to 6 pm on Saturdays and Sundays through June 7. From June 8 to August 23 it will operate daily 12 to 6 pm. Admission costs 1 dollar per person.
City offices including City Hall Public Works and Utility Billing close Monday for Memorial Day with re open on Tuesday. Emergency services trash and curbside recycling run as usual. Libraries centers parks and transit note closures and reopenings with Sunday/Monday dates. Goose Creek CISD offices and schools closed Monday resuming Tuesday. Harris County Transit suspended Monday and resume Tuesday.
