Million Dollar Dredging Underway On Houston Channel
The Atlantic Gulf and Pacific Co dredge George W Catt is straightening bends in the Houston Ship Channel in front of Humble Docks Baytown. A second dredge will perform nearby maintenance while a third contract is set for later. The project, begun in February under a $1 343 270 bid, will deepen and widen to ease inbound and outbound tanker traffic.
