Class of 1947 reunion at Baytown Historical Museum
The Baytown High School class of 1947 gathers for a 65th reunion at the Baytown Historical Museum on Defoe Street, with about half of the 231 graduates still living. The memoir spans childhood in Goose Creek and Pelly, local industry, the San Jacinto Monuments, floods, hurricanes, and historic Baytown changes from Pelly to Baytown, plus personal stories of education, family, and war.
