Baytown adopts multiple ordinances expanding zoning and landscaping rules
The city council approves Ordinances 13 762 13 763 13 764 and 13 770 to revise the unified land development code. Changes include redefining hotels and removing extended stay motels, adding transition buffer zones, updating non residential and accessory use tables, adding self storage and outdoor storage rules, extending masonry and facade standards, and adding a new variance process. Penalties up to 2000 dollars and publication dates provided.
