Barbers Hill Matt Stevens finishes fourth at State Golf
Barbers Hill junior Matt Stevens shot back to back 75s for a two day total of 150 at the Class 3A State Golf Tournament in Austin. His 150 earned third place before a playoff with a Lindale golfer left Stevens at fourth. Coach Jamey Horn noted Stevens waited three hours after his first round while the Lindale player was in the last group, yet Stevens still secured a top 10 and All-State consideration.
