Baytown Paramedic Earns Outstanding EMS Provider Award
Mark Miller of the City of Baytown received San Jacinto Methodist Hospital’s first quarter Outstanding EMS Provider Award for his actions on a call. He requested a restricted room to protect a patient’s dignity, performed life saving CPR after a cardiac arrest, and calmly informed the patient’s parents. Supervisors praise his care and dedication as an example for EMS teams. The hospital notes the program invites SJMH staff and EMS teams to nominate providers.
