Baytown Youth Fair Kicks Off With Livestock Show Events

The Baytown Youth Fair and Livestock Show opens its 44th year with a cookoff and crowning of the Junior Princess and Rodeo Queen. Events continue with livestock shows, a Chamber mixer, auction, rodeo, calf scramble, and pet show at the Baytown Youth Fairgrounds. Local FFA and 4-H students spend years caring for animals while community support funds prize money and fair activities. Attendance target is to exceed last year’s average of 300 per night. admission is free for all livestock shows, $6 for adults and $2 for students for rodeo tickets, with toddlers free.
