scammer’s fake processing job preys on unsuspecting applicants
Police describe a scam in which a man rented a Holiday Inn Express conference room and posted on Facebook seeking workers to help process employment applications. Victims’ personal data were collected with legitimate forms, with four identified as victims and others possibly affected.
