Water temp 70s lure strong fishing across Texas bays
Bink Grimes notes 70s temperatures boost activity of bait, mullet, shad, and shrimp, improving trout and redfish bites. In West Matagorda Bay glass minnows appear, shad and mullet return to shorelines, and anglers report big specks with live shrimp and plastics. May brings jetty and reef fishing with warm waters and patient conduct on the water.
