Local governments hold elections Saturday for boards and bonds
Several area governments vote Saturday for governing body seats or bond issues. Goose Creek CISD and Lee College boards with bonds are on ballots along with Mont Belvieu and Crosby issues. Barbers Hill ISD cancelled its election due to no contests. see Race page for details.

Polling Locations for Goose Creek and Lee College Elections

Home invader robs Baytown couple at gunpoint
A masked robber confronted a Baytown couple in their Hemlock Street home at about 10 p.m. on Wednesday, robbing them at gunpoint and stealing their family car. The 31-year-old man and his 33-year-old wife reported the incident in the 5300 block of Hemlock. See invader page 2.
