Gulf West Landfill TX LP seeks a Class 3 Modification to Permit 39039 at Baytown Texas for expanded leachate handling 30 sumps, updated closure and post closure plans, revised stormwater basins and flood protection, alternative final cover, carbon adsorption system, revised solids handling and sampling, and on site reagent storage. The TCEQ executive director completed technical review and issued a draft permit pending public comment and potential contested case hearing. Public viewing is at Chambers County Courthouse. comments due within 30 days from newspaper publication.
