Baytown reminiscences from Goose Creek era and civic milestones
A 1937 police report linked burglaries in Goose Creek school buildings to a 14 year old Horace Mann Junior High student who confessed to burglaries at Horace Mann and Ashbel Smith and to smashing about 50 windows over months. The 1950 Baytown city attorney term and 1989 Exxon picnic at Lenox Ranch are noted, with political turnout in Harris County near the 2023 election.
