Baytown author readings delight local students at SEA event
Baytown author Jennifer Richard Palton visited Stephen F. Austin Elementary during National Library Week to read A Spider Named Lenny to nine first grade classes and Alpha Childcare Development Center. Students enjoyed the story and songs as Palton described her writing journey since 2002 and her sister Robbin Richard Malbrough created the illustrations. Palton, who moved to Baytown after Hurricane Rita, plans further appearances and has other works including Henry the Pig and Daisy Mae's Big Dream.
