Baytown Boating Deaths Lead to Prison and Probation Sentences
Kevin Adams, 24, of Baytown, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and aggravated assault in the 2012 boat crash that killed 24 year old Tyler Enderli and injured Lynde Jendrush. Adams received six years in prison and a 5000 dollar fine in each case, to run concurrently. He admitted drinking before the accident and witnesses cited reckless boat operation. The judge's ruling underscored dangers of drinking and boating amid rising weather concerns.
