Obituary: Anita Buss of Baytown Dies at 87
Anita Buss died in hospice in Baytown on April 29 2007. Born April 18 1920 in Hallettsville she lived a long modest life as a homemaker and artist. She married Everett Buss in 1939 and moved to Baytown in 1941. She survived by three children seven grandchildren and two sisters among others and was active in St Jude Catholic Church Highlands and local art circles. Interment followed at Sterling White Cemetery with family funeral services provided by Navarre Funeral Home.

Funeral services May 2 at 11:00 am at Earthman Funeral Home Baytown with pallbearers named. Interment at Earthman Memory Gardens.

Roy L Cooper of Baytown, longtime resident for over 30 years, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. An Air Force veteran who served on the D E W line north of Fairbanks, Alaska, he later worked as a manager with Texas Turnpike and volunteered with the Baytown Police Department. He is survived by his wife Cyd Holzheuser Cooper, daughter Misty Meders and husband Jay, grandchildren James Amber Leigh and Jason, brother Danny Cooper, and sister Vickey Diaz.
