De Zavala School honors first campus with Texas Historical Marker
The Texas Historical Marker ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on March 29 will recognize the original De Zavala Elementary School in Baytown. A long history ties the school to HORC and ExxonMobil, as former students recall band director Antonio Banuelos and the Mexican Boys Band and La Tipica Orchestra.
