Emphasis On Spelling Sparks A Counterlesson
A humorous exchange about spelling errors in schoolwork and media. The narrator notes how emphasis on spelling has faded, cites examples from Goose Creek CISD trustee Wes Cotten and a high school letter from north Harris County, and hints at public figures mis spelling names. The piece zips through anecdotes about students, Congress, and Barbra Streisand.
