Comic Gilford Seeks Balance Between Comedy And Drama
New York actor Jack Gilford describes his career spanning stand up to serious roles. He cites early shows in New York amateur nights, stage parts in The World of Sholem Aleichem and The Diary of Anne Frank, and his film Save the Tiger where he plays a partner in a plot to burn a building for money. He prefers comedy but embraces both, noting many parts mix elements of both.
