Hope and renewal after hardship in Texas Hill Country
A reflective piece recalls a harsh winter and the rebirth of hope during a spring trip to Fredericksburg Texas. The narrator, aided by faith, recounts a family fire under the pines, a Hobbit song memory, and a marked March anniversary of new life. References to John 5 anchor faith in healing and movement. Stacy Parent is a Baytown lifelong resident.
