Wells Predicted Atomic Age Says Scientist at UT

Dr. Lew Kowalski, a Russian-born physicist now French citizen, teaches a course on the Rise and Impact of Nuclear Physics at the University of Texas Austin. He notes rapid change and recalls H. G. Wells’s 1914 prediction of the atomic age. Kowalski, 61, participated in the Atoms for Peace conferences in 1955 1958 and 1964. He warns writers shape public adaptation to science.
