U S jet fighters raided Laos again as a group of more than a dozen planes including F105s and F100s flew from Da Nang on a secret mission toward Laos. An Air Force spokesman declined to comment on losses. The Mekong Delta region saw more American casualties, raising the total since 1961 to 430 killed in Vietnam. See JETS, Page 2.
Bay town junior and senior high students will showcase projects at the Robert E. Lee High School Science Fair on March 27 with early setup March 26 and morning entry deadlines. Senior division includes physics chemistry biology and math. junior division covers bios physical earth and history. Top winners advance to the Greater Houston Science Fair at Sam Houston Coliseum, with several special awards and plaques announced at the conclusion of the event.

Funeral services for Mrs. Loma Mesher 74 of Tol E Humble will be at 4 p m Thursday at Earthman Chapel with the Rev Edwin Summers Grace Methodist. She died Tuesday night in a local hospital. Survivors include her son Louis Mosher of Dallas and three sisters Mrs Pearl Eschberger of Midland Mrs Sevelk Hot of Bainbridge and Mrs V Hen berger of Diego.
