Theft from a vehicle reported at 12 35 p m in the 100 block of East Texas Avenue involved 7900 in stolen power tools from storage bins of a truck A vehicle stolen from the 3400 block of North Alexander Drive between 4 a m and 2 p m was a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse valued at 1500 A dark green 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 dually valued at 12000 stolen from a lot in the 5000 block of Garth Road between 816 p m and 10 p m and the truck had a lime green Arctic Car 4 wheeler valued at 2000 A man arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 800 block of West Texas Avenue at 1208 p m seized less than a gram of barbiturates A Baytown man arrested for theft of Oreos M plus cake mix and chocolate bars from a store in the 400 block of North Alexander Drive At 1001 p m a Baytown man arrested for possession of 13 5 grams of marijuana at Quail Hollow Drive and West Barker Road A $300 cell phone stolen from the 1100 block of Edison Court between early Thursday and 1139 p m Friday Between Thursday and Friday mornings Baytown police officers wrote 30 offense reports and investigated incidents including one assault two burglaries one burglary of a motor vehicle one criminal mischief one forgery four thefts 16 other arrests and four miscellaneous cases During that same time period Baytown police also investigated nine vehicle accidents two of which reported injuries
