Paving Texas Avenue Bridge Bid Opening Set April 28
The city plans to pave Texas Avenue from Albert Thomas to Airhart Drive under a 1970 bond program. A new bridge will be built 16 feet above mean sea level with elevator systems and a proposed tax assessment. Estimated contract cost is about 700000 with abutting property assessments under 200000.
