FRED HARTMAN of the Baytown along with MRS. 7. T. Macon of 4 Stimpson San will appear before the Texas Senate committees on nominations for a six year term as a member of the Board of Regents of Lamar State College Beaumont. Hartman has undergone surgery at San Jacinto Memorial Hospital and is in Austin at 9 am Wednesday in Room 348 for confirmation hearing. The appointment was made last year. Absentee Voting Off To Slow Start In District
