Baytown City Council Tables Skate Park Renaming Plan
The Baytown City Council paused action on a proposal to rename Baytown Skate Park 2 at Unidad Park after Adrian Elias, the 14 year old killed in a hit and run. The decision followed Parks and Recreation Advisory Board approval and debate over naming criteria. Renaming could instead be marked by a memorial if the process cannot accommodate the request.
