Board backs group rankings for teachers and staff
In a Monday night discussion the School Board, aided by two trustees, approved ranking teachers and other employes in groups 1 2 3 rather than individually. The plan, urged by President Seth Mitchell, aims to improve performance without singling out individuals while a personnel meeting precedes contracts for the 1968 63 year. Trustees debated whether such ranking could become law via policy changes to support continuing contracts.
