Wandering Star Song Implant Manages to Distract Writer
A column recounts an amusing invasion of memory by a song from Lee Marvin’s Wanderin’ Star, triggered by a YouTube clip. The narrator jokes about being unable to stop singing while trying to meet a Texas Primary deadline, likening it to an implanted tune. The piece blends humor with reflections on writing pressure and pop culture.
