Lee College Continuing Education will open a Small Business Development Center on March 16 serving Baytown and nearby areas. The center, in cooperation with Gulf Coast Regional SBDC and the SBA, offers free individualized counseling to businesses with under 500 employees and helps with government contracts and buyer matchmaking.

The annual Science Fair will be held Tuesday at Moser Hall on the LC campus with public viewing from 5 to 6 30 p m and the awards assembly from 6 30 to 7 30 p m. District officials say the event showcases present and future science and engineering talent with entries in junior, ninth grade and senior divisions across engineering, physical and life sciences. Each entry earns an award, with first to third place plaques in each category and several special awards donated by Baytown business leaders.
